Our company purpose is to provide a quality supply of janitorial, washroom disposables, refuse sacks, cleaning chemicals and catering disposables to the London market.
Thamesmead has built strong working relationships with all the top branded manufacturers.
Thamesmead pays a great deal of attention to working with manufacturers who show a modern approach to the many environmental problems we are facing.
This means, in many cases, our paper products have a very high content of recycled paper and can be supplied 100% should you wish.
Also, most manufacturers have a tree replacement program firmly established. Many tissues are completely biodegradable and can be burnt safely without polluting the atmosphere. Our manufacturers assure us there is no health risk from Dioxin for people using pulp and paper products or to workers handling them.
Cleaning materials are mainly supplied by manufacturers who are well aware of current issues and have reputations and major brands to safeguard. This means most products are environmentally sound and every effort is made to meet all regulatory requirements and exceeding them where worldwide company standards are higher.
